The release of Windows 10 is less than a month away and there has been a lot of new coming in about the upcoming operating system for the past few weeks. Microsoft has been noticeably mum about Windows 10 Mobile, but several reports have thrown more light on what can be expected for the mobile version of the company's newest operating system.

WinBeta, which is one of the leading Microsoft-oriented websites founded in 1998, recently posted a sneak peak of the newest build of Windows 10 Mobile, named Build 10149. The new build, 10149, is available to Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring, as of June 25, and is the first build to include the Microsoft Edge branding for the new browser formerly known as "Project Spartan."

The latest update was released less than a week ago and is already shaping up to be one of the better betas of Windows 10 Mobile. A preview video on the website features the latest version running at a more polished and faster speed.

Windowscentral.com has also reported positively on the newest build of Windows 10 Mobile:

"(Build 10149) this was when it started to get real good."

All this seems to indicate good progress regarding the functionality of Windows 10 Mobile, though its release date still remains uncertain. Some rumors indicate that Windows 10 Mobile will be launched by around the end of this year.

According to an article published by WinBeta on the leak by French telecommunications company, SFR, Windows 10 Mobile will be available in October-November of this year. The report seems to coincide with earlier speculations that Windows 10 Mobile would become available for download by the tail end of September.

Windows 10 for desktop has been officially conformed to be available free from July 29, though the fate of Windows 10 Mobile still remains uncertain.
