The two-minute gameplay trailer of 'The Order: 1886' revealed the character of the famous inventor, Nikola Tesla.

"Nikola Tesla joins The Order in their war against the Half-Breeds. Wield powerful weapons of his design as you navigate the dangerous landscape of Neo-Victorian London," reads the official video description.

The clip was shown to the audience of the Ready At Dawn event at Gamescom 2014.

"Use both stealth and brute force against human and non-human foes as your actions determine the course of history forever. Discover History's Darkest Secret," it adds.

The official PlayStation blog also provided a brief back-story.

"Having moved to the United States in 1884, Tesla works in the company of some of the most influential people of the time on the New Continent, but the young inventor catches the interest of The Order and is convinced to return to Europe and join the group as their chief scientist."

Tesla's character is a way to integrate real world history into a fictional game.

Moreover, several weapons such as Arc Gun and Thermite Rifle were built in the model of his inventions.

A recreated Victorian-Era London is the setting of the game, where recognizable landmarks like the Palace of Westminster, Mayfair, Whitechapel, the Crystal Palace, Big Ben and the London Tube can be seen.

"Giant airships patrol the London skies, and electric trains traverse the city on elevated tracks above busy streets. Amid this alternate history, The Order remains a pivotal part of the kingdom, with its council hidden deep within the halls of the government's seat."

The narrative revolves around the conflict between Human and Half-breeds with new technological advancements brought about by the Industrial Revolution.

The first sneak peak into the action adventure video game exclusive for PlayStation 4 was shown at E3 2014.

The Order: 1886 is being developed by Ready at Dawn, and is scheduled for release on February 20, 2015.

The Knights Arsenal DLC will be given as a bonus to those who will pre-order the game.
