'The Crew' Beta: Second round opens August 25; Gameplay trailer, Xbox 360 confirmed [WATCH]
The latest The Crew gameplay trailer showcases different modes, police chasing cars and breathtaking collisions.
Ubisoft's action-drive racing game features a gang of illegal street racers that has grown on the outskirts of Detroit.
The varied racing experience will take players to the bustling streets of New York City all the way down to Miami Beach and up through the plateaus of Monument Valley.
Julian Gerighty, The Crew's creative director, also pledged to support the massively multiplayer game (MMO) for a year post launch.
"And for me launch is just the first thing. So this is something I've talked about before, but we've negotiated the support of the whole of the team working for a year after launch, delivering features, delivering content, for free."
Despite being dubbed as a next-gen driving game, Ubisoft has also confirmed The Crew coming to players on Xbox 360, Microsoft's last-gen gaming console.
"As you already know, The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but the team always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible," the official announcement said.
They added, "Today, we're excited to bring The Crew's same core features, massive scope, mission variety, and overall driving experience to the players on Xbox 360."
Alongside Xbox One, PS4 and PC, The Crew will release on Xbox 360 on November 11, 2014.
Meanwhile, registration is now open for the game's second closed beta for PS4 and Xbox One that will be released in late September, while the second session for PC will kickstart on August 25 and end August 29.
Players who were able to get their hands on the game, or redeemed their key on Uplay PC for the first beta, will automatically be able to access the second closed beta.
However, all money and achievements earned during beta number one will be erased – everyone's starting fresh this time around.
