Teclast X16 Power news: Dual OS tablet features 8 GB of RAM

Teclast has unveiled their newest tablet, the Teclast X16 Power. The Teclast X16 Power tablet is priced at $425 and is currently available for pre-order at Geekbuying. The Chinese tablet maker provides consumers with a cheaper option for the Microsoft Surface 3.

The Teclast X16 Power tablet features an 11.6-inch Full HD IPS display with a 1080 x 1920 screen resolution. It comes in black and is housed in an aluminum casing. It is 10.5 mm thick and weighs 600 grams.

The tablet-PC hybrid is powered by a quad-core 2.4 GHz 64-bit Intel Atom X7 Z8700 Cherry Trail processor and 8 GB of RAM. For graphics, it is equipped with the Intel HD Graphics Gen 8 card. It has 64 GB of internal storage but can be expanded up to 64 GB via a microSD slot.

The device also comes with a 5 MP rear camera with autofocus and a 2 MP front-facing camera.

The Teclast X16 Power tablet is a dual OS machine. It can run both Windows 10 and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Users can switch between the two operating systems just by rebooting the tablet. With Windows 10, users can accomplish work-related tasks while on the go. Then, for entertainment and leisure, users can take advantage of the apps on the Android OS.

The tablet features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. For ports, there is one USB 3.0 port, one micro USB port, one micro HDMI port and a headset jack. It also comes with a docking connector for a keyboard, which is sold separately. Teclast also offers an optional pen stylus.

The tablet is backed by a massive 32,300 mAh battery.

For those looking for a more affordable option, Teclast also unveiled the X16 Pro tablet. It comes with the same features and specs but is powered by the Intel Atom T4 Z8500 Cherry Trail processor and comes with 4 GB of RAM.

The Teclast X16 Pro tablet is also available for pre-order at Geekbuying for $347.
