Acer has recently released the specifications of their next gaming rig, Predator G6-710. The gaming rig is definitely powerful and it comes with a design that is quite extraordinary.

On Wednesday, during Gamescom, Acer finally revealed the details of their upcoming gaming CPU in the Predator series, the Predator G6-710. "Today Acer announces the release of its 'Unstoppable Fighting Machine,' the Acer Predator G6-710 gaming desktop. This is the first in a series of unveilings of Acer's game changing Predator range during Gamescom," the company said in their statement via Hexus.

The specifications of this monster gaming rig are truly outstanding, specifically its processor. The Predator G6-710, as revealed, will come with the latest Skylake 6th gen Intel chip i7-6700k, which can reach a whopping 4.0GHz clock speed, as can be seen on the CPU-Z benchmark posted on Tom's Hardware.

While the processor is surprisingly powerful, the GPU on the other hand is a bit surprising as well. The Predator G6-710 is said to come with an nVidia GeForce GTX 980. However, as stated on another report from Tom's Hardware, it is weird that Acer decided to go with the GTX 980 GPU instead of the 980 Ti card that is currently available in the market and is much more superior to the consumer version 980.

In terms of memory, or RAM, Acer revealed that this gaming rig will come with a 64GB DDR4 RAM card. As for the hard disk drive (HDD), the Predator G6-710 is going to have an "Easy-swap expansion bay" that can reach up to 12TB of internal storage and 512GB for SSD.

As for the pricing and release date, Acer said on their statement that they are planning to release this gaming desktop on Europe by mid-September and the price will start at €1,999—or roughly around $2,185.44 when converted. However, the company has stated that the North American price still needs a bit of configuration so it is best to wait for further announcements.
