A recent Pokemon X and Y update unveiled the Hoopa event, which is rumored to come soon. Pokemon X and Y seems to have lots of content up its sleeves; for instance, apart from the Hoopa, it already had the Mega Latios, Latias, Diancie and Volcanion events revealed, causing Poke fans to crave for downloadable content.

Pokemon XY lovers have know for a long time to anticipate three new gen 6 Pokes – Volcanion, Diancie and Hoopa which were hidden, although the Volcanion event wraps was already taken off and Dancie had been shown officially. Pokemon fans are still left clueless as to when they will be able to catch all three. Fortunately the Hoopa event was unveiled unofficially at last, as the third member of the mythical trio.

The leaked images of the Hoopa event reveals some interesting things. It seems the three rings make it possible to give Hoopa the power to move objects and, according to the professor, more rings will give more power. For instance, many rings could let Hoopa transport an entire island.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby potentially contains many of the series's coming revelations; and with Hoopa in the pipeline, there might be some official announcements on several megas, such as the MEGA Latios and Latias which are still hidden somewhere on the Pokemon X and Y cartridges.

According to International Digital Times, the time to reveal could never be better than the Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire (ORAS) release date; plus a sweet addition of Hoopa event with the two Hoenn jets.

What makes Pokemon X's and Pokemon Y's legendary trio distinct from past generations is its Fire / Water type, which was a first for the series. Hoopa is a type of ghost or psychic which can float in the air with a ring on the right horn and its Hyperspace Hole – its signature move and psychic attack.
