Nexus 5 (2015) 2nd Gen release date, specs, rumors: two Nexus models to come from Google this year

According to a report by Artem Russakovskii with knowyourmobile.com, there is a good chance that Google could come out with two Nexus phones in 2015 - one to be produced by LG, the other by Huawei.
"If Google indeed rolls with both, it'd be the first time two Nexus phones came out in the same year – a strategy that makes a whole lot of sense to me as not everyone is into behemoths like a Nexus 6," quipped Russakovskii.
These reports should be taken with a pinch of salt as they are mostly speculative, though Google and LG have been in a successful partnership since 2012, which increases the possibility of the two tech giants teaming up once again for Nexus 2015. If the rumors about Google coming out with two Nexus phones are true, then it would be the first time that Huawei would manufacture Nexus powered phones.
Supposed leaked specifications of both Nexus phones have been floating around on the internet. It is reported that LG will be producing a high-end version of the Nexus phone, while a Chinese company, highly speculated as Huawei, would manufacture a more affordable Nexus handset.
With the recent success of LG's G4, it would be safe to assume that the flagship's design concepts and general functions would be similar in its upcoming Nexus phone, which will feature a 5.2 inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 chipset and 64 GB of storage.
Another report by Gizmochina has claimed that the Huawei Nexus phone would have a 5.7 inch display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 810 chipset. However, there are contradictory rumors that Huawei will use its own chipset, Kirin in its Nexus phone, which will feature a slim design similar to its recent release, Huawei P8.
Neither the release dates nor the partnerships for the Nexus 2015 devices have been formally announced by any of the companies, but given Google's track record, users can expect the devices to be launched by around Q3 of this year.
