The Patch 4 update for NBA 2K15 was released late last week for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The patch addressed a variety of in-game issues, including a disconnecting issue related to online games played on the XB1 wherein users minimized the title and returned while on the Team Select screen. Also included is a host of improvements related to the player progression system's player ratings development in game modes MyGM, MyLEAGUE, and MyCAREER.

In addition to the new patch, 2K also released a roster update shortly thereafter. As reported in this article at Operation Sports, rosters for teams in the Euro League were overhauled along with a global wide tweak to player shooter ratings. The shooting tweak affects all players in the game and reduces their respective 3PT and Midrange Shooting ratings by 8 point each. This change will affect the overall ratings for some players but shouldn't upend the game balance all too much.

The most noteworthy addition to the roster update is the inclusion of the Sacramento Kings' newly signed played Sim Bhullar. Bhullar is a 7'5" 360 pound behemoth who was included in the Kings' summer league roster but was later cut. He then played in the D-League where he reportedly improved the conditioning issues which held him back during summer league. He averaged 10.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.9 blocks in his stint with the Reno Bighorns.

In addition to being the biggest player currently in the NBA, Bhullar is also the first player of Indian descent to make it to the NBA. It's unclear how he fits into the Kings' future plans, but majority owner Vivek Ranadive is a big supporter and has been quite clear of his desire to raise the team's visibility in his native India. Whatever the case, the Kings are out of playoff contention, and the addition of Bhullar has added a measure of intrigue as their season winds down.
