Naya Rivera has reportedly been fired from the hit FOX singing show, according to the New York Daily News.

Earlier this month, Us Weekly reported that a fight allegedly broke out between Naya Rivera and Lea Michele on the set of Glee on April 15 and rumors were rife that Rivera would be leaving the show following the on-set altercation. 

However, latest reports state that the fight in fact had nothing to do with Michele, but stemmed from a disagreement with producers.

A source told The Daily News: "She went off. But it had nothing to do with Lea."

Fans have been rallying for support of Naya Rivera, after previous reports that she would not be returning to the show. #NoNayaNoGlee had been trending on Twitter in support of the actress.

PopWrapped tweeted today that Rivera will not be returning to the show and that she has been written out of the season 5 finale. "I have CONFIRMED that Naya Rivera WILL NOT be appearing in the #GLEE Season 5 Finale' as originally planned. Stay-tuned for more details."

Rivera recently called off her engagement to rapper Big Sean.

The season 5 finale of Glee titled "The Untitled Rachel Berry Project" will be airing Tuesday, May 13.  However, if reports are true, it is not known how Rivera's "Santana" character will be written out. 

Glee airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
