Apple iPhone 7 release date: Device expected this September?
Since it has been a year after the launch of Apple's iPhone 6, many are anticipating the release of Apple's new addition to its phone line, the iPhone 7.
Though no official announcements have been made by Apple regarding the iPhone 7, there are rumors that its release could be fast approaching. Previous reports mentioned that the upcoming device will be available as early as this September.
Hype Beast noted that the iPhone 7 might be available for pre-order this September 9 and explained that it could be released by September 16. However, there has yet to be any official source confirming the news.
Nevertheless, these speculations followed the pattern of the iPhone's past releases. It was reported that the iPhone 6 variants were released on Fridays, which could mean the same thing for the upcoming phones.
Aside from its release date, there were rumors that Apple fans will have several options to choose from for the new phone. It is said to be available as the iPhone 7 Pro as well as the iPhone 7 Plus.
While there are no reports noting what specifications the variants will hold, the iPhone 7 is expected to utilize an improved processor that will be a lot better than the ones used by the iPad Pro. This will bring an enhanced performance, which will improve the efficiency of the device.
However, the iPhone 7 is said to only have 2 GB of RAM and this could affect the performance of the device. Meanwhile, it will bring a better sensor that will boost its 12-megapixel camera. This will allow the phone to take better photos in the dark.
As the iPhone 7 is expected to mirror a similar design in comparison to its predecessor, the phone should be available in several colors such as space black, silver, gold, space grey, and rose gold.
