Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date rumors: Pro 3 successor coming with Windows 10 in October this year?

Close on the heels of a recent rumor that Microsoft would launch the Surface Pro 4 in two sizes - a 12-inch and a 14-inch variant – in July this year, new speculations now suggest that the laptop/hybrid tablet is unlikely to hit the market only after the release of its new operating system, Windows 10, in October.
The Surface Pro is considered to be the ultimate laptop/hybrid tablet and had received the "best tablet" award at the Mobile World Congress earlier this month. There have been rumors that the next Surface Pro 4 would be a laptop-tablet hybrid and mark a huge leap from the current Surface Pro 3.
The Surface Pro 4 is expected to come in two models, a 12-inch and a 14-inch variant, both bearing the same 2K display, with the 12-inch version rumored to be powered by a Broadwell processor and the 14-inch variant speculated to be the high-grade hybrid with powerful Intel i5 and i7 processors.
Microsoft's upcoming hybrid device will come with 1 terabyte of storage and will be LTE-ready with Xbox game streaming support and a battery that could last up to 10 hours on video playback. The laplet is expected to come with a 3.5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear-facing shooter, with both capable of taking 1080p videos.
The latest media reports had indicated that Microsoft had fixed a release date of July 2015 for the Surface Pro 4 and would announce the launch date at a suitable event. However, there are now rumors that the Surface Pro 4 will run Windows 10 out of the box, in which case, the two-in-one machine will not hit the market until October, as Microsoft will officially launch its new operating system by around that time.
But not everyone seems to be buying this theory. It does make sense for Microsoft to release the Surface Pro 4 after Windows 10 becomes available, since it would be the first device to come with Microsoft's new operating system pre-loaded. However, all users running Windows 8.1 can upgrade to Windows 10 for free and even if the Surface Pro 4 is launched before the release of Windows 10, the laptop/hybrid tablet can always be upgraded to Microsoft's new operating system.
Meanwhile, Microsoft continues to maintain silence about the details and release of the Surface Pro 4, which is only creating more rumors and speculations about its upcoming hybrid device.
