MacBook Pro 2016 news: new Apple laptop may just be out for Christmas

With the announcement of Microsoft's newest 'laplet', the 'Surface Pro 4', many Apple enthusiasts are without a doubt waiting for any news surrounding the debut of the MacBook Pro 2016. Like usual the tech giant has remained mum about the details of their upcoming laptop offering. However, some reports already claim that it won't be soon until the MacBook Pro 2016 becomes available for purchase.
Previously, there have been news that the laptop would be unveiled this month. Now that it is halfway through October, Apple has yet to release any statements regarding an impending launch.
According to Neurogadgets.com, while the MacBook did not debut this month, it would not take until the turn of the year until it arrives in stores. The same article reveals that older models of the laptop have already gone on sale. This is a great indication that stores are readying their inventories for new merchandise.
Likewise an article from VineReport claims that Apple would be releasing the MacBook Pro 2016 just in time for the holidays in order to take advantage of Christmas shoppers.
The release date for the device has yet to be confirmed. Unfortunately, Apple has also kept the specs of their upcoming laptop generation under wraps. However, tech news outlets have already chimed in on what they think would be included in the release of MacBook Pro 2016.
Reportedly, enthusiasts can expect the new device to be around the same size as the current model which stands 13.3 inches. MacBook Pro 2016 might have force touch technology and would be running on a very powerful Skylake-U processor. It is expected to carry 8GB of ram.
The Microsoft competitor, Surface Pro 4, goes for $1499. According to reports, to keep the market competitive, the MacBook Pro 2016 would be selling for just $200 over the Microsoft flagship device at $1699.
Apple has yet to confirm nor deny the rumors.
