LG G Pad 2 rumored to release in October
LG is set to reveal their LG Gentle Flip smartphone this month, but it seems like another one of their devices is going to be unveiled very soon as well.
The company has been keeping their fans in the dark with the new LG G Pad 2, and now, leaks of the possible new improvements of the device have been released and can already be found online. According to IB times, Leaksfly, the alleged leaker has posted all the details of the new LG G Pad 2 on his Weibo account.
As reported by Christian Today, the new device will be sporting an 8.3-inch display, which is similar to the LG G Pad, however, there is a change with the resolution, since the LG G Pad 2 will reportedly have 1080 x 1920 pixels.
Breathecast also reports that the new tablet will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. Graphics, on the other hand, will be handled by an Adreno 420 GPU. The new LG G Pad 2 will also have 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.
As for its camera, reports claim that the new device will have an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. The LG G Pad 2 is also rumored to run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The LG tablet currently present in the market is the LG G Pad 2's predecessor, the LG G Pad. The LG G Pad runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro 600 and Adreno 320 and has only 2 GB of RAM. The device, however, boasts of 16 GB of internal storage.
The price point of the LG G Pad 2 has yet to be announced but it is expected to be lower than the previous releases since LG has been working on lowering the price of their devices, possibly to increase the number of sales.
The new LG G Pad 2 is expected to be announced in October of this year.
