Lenovo has recently unveiled the Lenovo YOGA 700 convertible laptop. There are two variants to give consumers more options in terms of performance and portability.

The 11-inch YOGA 700 ($649) is a thin and light convertible laptop designed for travelers or consumers who are always on-the-go. The 14-inch YOGA 700 ($799) features the latest hardware specifications that powers the laptop to perform faster and more efficiently.

"We know fast performance, easy portability and rich sound and display are features consumers expect in a laptop today," said Johnson Jia, Senior Vice President of Lenovo's PC Business Group. "Consumers can get a premium quality convertible laptop for work and travel at the price of a standard laptop," he added.

Both YOGA 700 variants feature a Full HD IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 screen resolution and Dolby DS1.0 Home Theater speakers. The devices run on Windows 10 and are equipped with Sold-State Drives for fast performance. They also come with the AccuType backlit keyboard for easy typing even in low light conditions.

As a YOGA convertible laptop, there are four usage modes available – laptop, stand, tent and tablet.

14-inch YOGA 700

The 14-inch Lenovo YOGA 700 is powered by the newest Intel Core i7 Skylake processor with the Intel HD Graphics 520. The convertible laptop can also be equipped with 2 GB of NVIDIA GeForce GT 940M. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage. The SSD can also be upgraded to 256 GB.

The 14-inch convertible laptop is backed up by a 4-cell Li-Polymer 45Wh battery. Given that the laptop has been designed for productivity, the battery packs enough power to transfer files, write reports and edit images in Photoshop.

Lenovo's 14-inch device weighs only 1.6 kg and comes with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, a card reader and an HDMI port.

11.6-inch YOGA 700

The 11.6-inch YOGA 700 is thin and light at 1.1 kg, making it the ideal travel companion. It is powered by the Intel Core m3 processor and Intel HD Graphics 515. It has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage.

The convertible laptop is backed up by a 40Wh battery that provides up to 7 hours of battery life. The YOGA 700 device also comes with one USB 3.0 port and a micro HDMI port.

The Lenovo YOGA 700 convertible laptops will be available for purchase by next month.
