The iPhone 6s Plus from Apple is reportedly one of the best phablets released this year; however, other devices are continually arriving to challenge it. The most recent entrant is the LG V10 with a unique dual screen. This is how these phablets compare. 

Design

When it comes to design, these two phablets are extremely different, with the LG V10 having a steel chassis, a silicone frame on its front and a textured back panel. It also has a second screen positioned at the top of the main screen and it is used to display favorite apps, contacts and notifications and it always stays on. As for the fingerprint scanner, it is positioned at the back, lying just below the camera. The device comes in four colors: white, black, beige and blue.

The iPhone 6s Plus, on the other hand, uses a different approach and comes with a full metal body that is made from stronger 7000 series aluminum alloy. It has curved corners; a fingerprint scanner incorporated into this home button, and finally comes in silver, gold, space gray, and a new rose gold option. 

Display

The iPhone 6s Plus has a smaller display and it has an IPS LCD screen measuring 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and density of 401 pixels per inch. However, it has 3D Touch technology which can sense the amount of pressure being applied to the screen.

As for the LG V10, its main screen is a 5.7-inch IPS LCD version with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 515 pixels per inch, while its 2.1-inch second screen has a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. 

Specs

There is Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset on the LG V10 and it is coupled with a hexa-core CPU with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.44 GHz and four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 1.82 GHz along with an Adreno 418 GPU.

As for the iPhone 6s Plus, it has an Apple A9 chipset, a CPU with two cores clocked at 1.84 GHz and a PowerVR GT7600 GPU. 

Memory

The LG V10 has a memory slot and it supports up to 128 GB of external storage, while the storage on the iPhone 6s Plus cannot be expanded. As for RAM, again the LG V10 is ahead with 4 GB while the iPhone 6s Plus has 2 GB. 

Camera

There is a 16-megapixel camera with OIS on the LG V10 and it has two 5-megapixel cameras on the front. On the rear of the iPhone 6s Plus is a 12-megapixel camera with OIS and a 5-megapixel camera on front.

Price

The LG V10 could cost $600 in its unlocked form, while the iPhone 6s Plus costs $299 with a two year contract.
