'iPad Air 3' news: Expected to come at a later date

(Apple)iPad Air 3 could have the same 9.7 inch screen as the iPad Air 2

Apple may not be releasing the new "iPad Air 3" by the end of this year.

With the holiday season just around the corner, recent rumors of the new iPad are slowly dying down, possibly opting for a 2016 release rather than the speculated end of the year reveal.

According to Christian Today, the company is a bit hesitant on releasing another tablet model. With the recent release of both the iPad Pro and iPad mini 4, Apple is fearing that the market has seen too much new iPads that the third wouldn't gain much of a profit.

Alphr reports that the new "iPad Air 3" might be announced by the end of the first quarter of 2016. The later date is said to reassure the company that the new iPad won't be battling with any other tablet once it hits the market.

The new "iPad Air 3" is speculated to maintain the same display size as its predecessor at 9.7 inches. What would differ, however, would be its screen resolution. The company is rumored to have upgraded their display to have 2334 x 3112 pixels as well as 401 ppi. Christian Post has also reported that the new "iPad Air 3" is speculated to have the same 401 ppi that is currently seen with the new iPhone 6S, along with much of the new upgrades that Apple has done, the new tablet is rumored to be powered with either an A9 or an A9X chipset.

The tablet is also speculated to have at least two or four gigabytes of RAM. The new "iPad Air 3" will also be equipped with an 8-megapixel back camera and a 2.1-megapixel front camera. The new tablet will also come with different variants when it comes to storage, going so low at 16GB until 128GB.

Apple has neither confirmed nor denied any rumors surrounding their new "iPad Air 3". Fans would have to wait a little longer for any additional news regarding their new products.
