'Gotham' season 2: It's all about heroism and villainy, says the cast

"Gotham" season two is back with a new set of villains and the cast says the new season is really going to be a massive clash between heroism and villainy.
Den of Geek visited the "Gotham" set and talked to the cast about the new season. The most-awaited perhaps of these characters is Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), who will surely be a brand-new person as evidenced by the latest clip for the show.
In the new season, Barbara will surely tread the villain path. Richards says, "I'm sort of getting to show the birth of a new person. Coming into season 2, it's like everything is new. She's sort of been hatched out of a crazy, evil egg. And everything she's experiencing, it's like she's experiencing it for the first time."
And these new experiences will be greatly influenced by the new characters, Tabitha (Jessica Lucas) and Theo Galvan (James Frain). Also factoring a lot in her life will be Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie), whom she will continue to go after.
Speaking of Tabitha and Theo, Lucas talked about how her character will differ from her brother. She says that Theo schemes and she acts. She also elaborated on their relationship, saying there is a lot of loyalty involved but their way of achieving things are a bit different. She says Tabitha gets easily bored with the way Theo does things.
Highlighting the show's hero vs. villain theme is Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova). Her connections with Jim and Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) have not stopped her from joining Fish's gang. She continues to figure out whether she belongs to the hero or villain group in the new season. Bicondiva explained that her character does know what's wrong and what's right but does not always know which one to follow.
"Gotham" airs every Monday on FOX.
