DROID Turbo 2 vs HTC One M9: Similar hardware behind these different exteriors

The DROID Turbo 2 is undoubtedly one of the best devices of the year, and even though it is going to release in the United States exclusively via Verizon, it is going to arrive in market worldwide as the Moto X Force. Here is how it compares to the prettier metal bodied HTC One M9.
Design
When it comes to design, the DROID Turbo 2 does not have much metal on its frame while the back panels are made from a soft grip material; however, users can opt to create their own device on the Moto Maker website. Here, they can change the color of the frame and accents, and outfit the back panels with pebbled leather or ballistic nylon which also come in different colors. However, the device from Motorola and its competitor do not have fingerprint scanners. As for the HTC One M9 it has a full metal body, has been hand polished to a fine shine, and has curved corners which give it a premium appearance. Finally in terms of colors, it comes in gray, gold, a silver/gold combination and a gold/pink combination.
Display
On the One M9 is a super LCD3 screen measuring 5.0 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and density of 441 pixels per inch, while the DROID Turbo 2 has a better quality P-OLED screen measuring 5.4 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 540 pixels per inch. Importantly the device from Motorola has ShatterShield technology included in its display which prevents it from cracking.
