Asus G752 news: powerful specs in this ROG laptop will suit extreme gamers

Asus unveiled the Republic of Gamers (ROG) G752, their new gaming laptop, last month at the IFA 2015 in Berlin. Asus' latest flagship laptop is suited for "extreme gamers on the go." 

The ROG G752 succeeds the powerful G751 laptop and features a new Mobile 3D Vapor Chamber cooling system. The laptop now has dual heat pipes that cool down the GPU and CPU and boosts performance by six percent. 

The laptop also comes with a new dust-release thermal system that prevents internal dust build up. This helps increase the laptop's stability and durability. 

The new laptop from Asus features a 17.3-inch FHD 1080p display with G-Sync. It also comes with a new and unique ROG color theme – a glossy Armor Titanium exterior with Plasma Copper accents. The G752's weight is substantial at 9.61 pounds and it also feature the Windows 10 OS. 

It is equipped with a backlit and tapered anti-ghosting 30-key rollover keyboard. The keyboard, with 2.5 mm key travel, is extremely responsive and registers all key presses, even during intense game battles. The ROG G752 gaming laptop also comes with the new, sixth generation Intel Core quad-core Skylake processors. 

The $1,500 base model comes with a quad-core Core i7-6700HQ Skylake CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 965m GPU, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 TB of Hard Disk Drive. Users can add $100 to upgrade to the GeForce GTX 970m graphics card. 

For $1,800, the gaming laptop gets updated graphics and a fast 128 GB M.2 Solid-State Drive. The G752 laptop priced at $2,000 gets the GeForce GTX 980m GPU, 24 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD. These specs allow gamers to play 60 frames per second at 1080p resolution. 

For intense and heavy-duty gaming, Asus also has top tier configurations for the G752 laptop. The $2,600 model features a Core i7 6700HQ processor, GeForce GTX 980 GPU, 4GB of DDR5 memory, a 1TB hard drive, 128 GB of SSD storage and a Blu-ray optical drive. The high-end $3,499 model gets a beefier processor, the Core i76820HK, 8 GB of graphics memory, with 512 SSD and 1 TB HDD. 

All G752 laptops also come with Thunderbolt 3.0 technology that allows for up to 20 GB/s transfer speeds. It also has USB 3.1 Type-C compability.

The Asus ROG G752 laptops are expected to be released by November.
