Amid the speculations that Apple is launching iWatch in October, the tech titan poaches Vice President of Sales of Swiss luxury watch brand Tag Heuer.

Tag Heuer confirmed with Reuters that Patrick Pruniaux has left the company for an undisclosed position in Apple, Inc.

The head of LVMH watch brands, Jean-Claude Biver, did not express any disappointment with one of their executives leaving the company to help launch Apple's iWatch.

"If he went to my competitor I would have felt betrayed. But if he went to Apple I think it's a great experience for him," Bliver said.

He also briefly tackled the threat that iWatch poses to the luxury watch industry.

"The iWatch will have the same status symbol power as many other Apple products, especially at the beginning," he said. "I personally believe it has the potential to be a threat for the industry, and it should not stay with its arms crossed."

Apple's last WWDC promised tons of new things from the company, but an iWatch announcement was missing.

Android Wear unveiled their line of smartwatches during the recent Google I/O developers conference where they gave out vouchers for the LG G Watch, Samsung Gear Live and Moto 360.

Apple is set to launch iOS 8 and a rumored iPhone 6 this coming fall, and iWatch hitting the marketplace just in time for the holiday season seem very feasible and profitable.

According to a New York Times article, low-level employees at Apple have praised Tim Cook's approachability and intellect, but said he is less hands-on in product development, leaving much of the work and design of Apple's smartwatch to SVP of Design, Jonathan Ive, who is closely identified to the late Steve Jobs.

This will be the first time for the billion-dollar brand to at least somewhat enter the fashion business, and from the looks of it, Cook wants to make sure that they will be doing it right from the beginning.

In fact, Apple's chief has also hired experienced talents from multiple industries including former Burberry head, Angela Ahrendts, to manage physical and online stores and former Yves Saint Laurent chief executive, Paul Deneve, to oversee special projects.

Other notable personalities that jumped into the Apple turf are Kevin Lynch from Adobe, Michael O'Reilly from Masimo Corporation, and the music industry gurus of Beats.
