2016 Ford Bronco news: classic vehicle might be out later this year, early next year, with $45,950 price tag

Dinosaurs remain extinct — and the same is said about the rumored return of the classic utility vehicle, Ford Bronco. With the car missing what was supposed to be its unveiling, speculations are high that the 2016 Ford Bronco just might not be released anymore. But one website thinks otherwise. In fact, it just released the car's possible release date and even its estimated cost.
Autoomobile reported that the 2016 Ford Bronco is supposed to make its debut along with the premiere of the Chris Pratt movie, "Jurassic World." The movie has come and gone but there is still no sign of the next-generation Bronco. And with the deafening silence in social media regarding the said reboot of the 1966-1996 car model, rumors are rife that maybe it is not happening.
However, the website Ford Concept 2016 will have car enthusiasts thinking otherwise. The site, which posts concepts of incoming Ford cars, has just posted a possible release date and an estimated price of the said car.
According to the website, the new Ford Bronco may drive through the markets later this year or maybe even early next year. And when it does, it may carry the same price tag as the 2015 Ford F-150, which is currently priced at $45,950.
Ford originally sold the Bronco in five different generations, from 1966 to 1996. There were early, smaller models that were sold from 1966 to 1977 and the latter, bigger Broncos sold from 1978 to 1996.
Its reboot will see major changes, specifically with the engine. The same website speculates that the American automaker might opt to sport it with one of their two newer engines: the 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 or the 4.9-liter Powerstroke diesel V-6. The two engines can spurn 420 hp and 330 hp, respectively.
Outside, the car will have a lot of influences from the 20o4 Ford Atlas. There will be a modern revamp, which allows for more curves but with more masculine bumpers.
These are all concepts for now, as there is no official word yet from Ford. Stay tuned for further updates.
