Xbox One's "Forza Motorsport 6" has just gotten better. Xbox just announced a new partnership that sweetens the garage choices for the upcoming racing game.

Xbox partnered with Australia's V8 Supercars, giving Microsoft's new-generation console access to the 10 cars in the 2015 V8 Supercar series. All cars, from five different manufacturers, will be debuted as playable cars in the Xbox One-exclusive title, "Forza Motorsport 6."

This is not the first time that V8 Supercars have factored into a "Forza Motorsport" video game. Since the third iteration of the racing game, Ford and Holden V8 Supercars have been available to gamers. "Forza 6," however, will be the very first title in the franchise to brag about the inclusion of cars from all five manufacturers: Erebus Mercedes, Nissan, Volvo, and of course, Ford and Holden.

IGN posted the 10 confirmed cars from the 2015 V8 Supercar series:

  • 2015 Holden #1 Red Bull Racing Australia VF Commodore

Teams and drivers not included in the latest list are still "playable" via the game's livery creation tools. Microsoft Studios says gamers can utilize the tools to recreate their dream cars from all confirmed manufacturers in the game. The racing game's "Showcase Events" will also feature an in-game content that highlights V8 Supercars and Mount Panorama, as well as Mark Skaife, the six-time winner of Bathurst 1000.

James Warburton, CEO of V8 Supercars Australia, said of the partnership, "We are very proud that our home-grown Australian V8 Championship including drivers and teams from the 2015 season representing each of the five constructors will be featured for the first time in 'Forza Motorsport 6' and be played by millions of racing fans around the world."

These 10 new additions are part of the game's promised 450 cars. The latest version of the wet-weather racing game also promises 100 routes in 26 locations.

"Forza Motorsport 6" is developed by Turn 10 Studios exclusively for the Xbox One. It will be released in the U.S. on Sept. 15.
