'WWE 2K17' roster rumors: Three superstars confirmed for game

Fans of 2K Sports' "WWE" series know that the 2K16 version stepped up to the plate. Now, rumors are surrounding the yet unannounced "WWE 2K17."
The online universe is rife with speculations on which WWE superstars will be included in the upcoming 2017 installment. Since the game is widely known for its diverse and broad selection of characters that can be played, it's no doubt that fans have been focused on this aspect.
According to reports, Bray Wyatt and Brie Bella have already been scanned for the game, which might mean that they will be included in the upcoming installment. Alundra Blayze, known for her portrayal of Madusa, confirmed on her Twitter account that she has been scanned by WWE Games, leading to numerous speculations of her inclusion.

Unfortunately, just because they have been scanned doesn't automatically secure their attachment to the final version of the game. Sasha Banks, who was scanned for "WWE 2K16," reportedly ended up being scrapped from the game. She wasn't the only one, though, as Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Bayley also found themselves in the same boat as Banks.
There is the possibility, however, that these scans may be included in DLCs. Two other rumored additions to "WWE 2K17" are newbies Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.
Of course, fans are also interested in seeing the same characters come back with new and improved versions of themselves. Roman Reigns, according to some reports, deserves a better look since his character in the game doesn't do his face justice. Kevin Owens is also another wrestler deserving of a character makeover. Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho are also included in the list of wrestlers whom fans want to have re-scanned.
As for the game's release, nothing for sure is known. Since "WWE 2K17" hasn't even been officially confirmed by 2K Sports, it's possible that a roll-out date might not be announced until much later. Rumors say, however, that the game could see an October or November release.
