"World of Warcraft: Legion" players are set to receive some new content very soon, as Patch 7.1 – better known as "Return to Karazhan" – will be officially released later this month.

Specifically, developer Blizzard announced in a new post on the game's official website that the content drop will be released on Oct. 25. 

"Return to Karazhan" is the first major patch to be released for the game since the "Legion" expansion was made available just a few months ago.

Notably, some "World of Warcraft" players have already gotten an opportunity to see what the upcoming patch has to offer after trying out in the Public Test Realm.

Wowhead was able to share some of the new patch's more notable features in a recent post.

First off, players should expect to encounter at least a few bosses while going through the new dungeon featured in Patch 7.1.

Nine different bosses reportedly reside within this new dungeon, so players will need to prepare properly before they move forward with trying to clear this additional area. Some of the featured bosses may be enemies that players recognize from the older version of Karazhan, while the other powerful foes are entirely new.

"Return to Karazhan's" dungeon also includes other traces of the original dungeon in the form of familiar items and areas that older players have likely seen before.

Lastly, players will also be given the option of going through the new dungeon included in the upcoming patch to see all that it contains and they can also opt to revisit old Karazhan and see how it looks now.

A more detailed list of the new features included in the "Return to Karazhan" patch will likely be made available ahead of Oct. 25, so "World of Warcraft: Legion" players will want to watch out for that in the days ahead.
