'Wolverine 3' news: New Mexico filming completed; Patrick Stewart teases 'very different' Charles Xavier

For the third and final time, Hugh Jackman will be giving his all to deliver the new installment in the "Wolverine" franchise, and it has only been revealed that filming in New Mexico has wrapped up.
According to On Location Vacations, filming has completed in the area and sources have spilled that the cast and crew members may have shot sequences at the Box Canyon Recreation Area. There were also some onlookers who said shooting took place in the Northern Meadows neighborhood of Rio Rancho, and the King Meadows Park area was crowded with cars of the cast and crew.
It is unclear if all the scenes for the entire movie have been filmed but what's clear is production is making big developments, especially after set photos were leaked earlier in June with Jackman and Patrick Stewart starring in the pictures. A yet-to-be-identified young girl was also spotted in the said photos and her character has also been kept under wraps.
The photos were a point of interest for moviegoers who are looking for every bit of information they can get for the plot of "Wolverine 3." Though Jackman seems to have indirectly confirmed that he will now be portraying "Old Man Logan" for his final take on the iconic character, the scruffy and rugged as well as heavily-bearded look he featured on the photos imply that the film may indeed revolve around the "Old Man Logan" arc.
Meanwhile, Stewart recently dished about what fans should expect of his famous character, Professor X or Charles Xavier. According to Coming Soon, the actor said viewers will see "a very different Charles Xavier... nothing like the Charles Xavier you've seen in the past." His remarks seem legitimate since he also hinted that this might be his last time portraying the role.
Stewart said, "I would imagine this is probably the end of this franchise for me. But the thing about science fiction and fantasy is that you can never, ever say it's the end, it's over." His remarks are still hazy but it is best to leave things there for now until Stewart himself announces that "Wolverine 3" will see the last of him as the great Professor X.
"Wolverine 3" is slated to hit big screens in the United States on March 3, 2017.
