'Wentworth' season 5 rumors: Danielle Cormack returning; series lied about Bea Smith's death, fans say
Although Danielle Cormack has kept mum on rumors saying that she is returning to "Wentworth" season 5 to reprise her already supposed dead character Bea Smith, it is said that the actress is, indeed, part of the upcoming season of the Australian series, and that the show has just tricked the viewers into believing that the beloved character died in "Wentworth" season 4 finale.
As of this writing, Cormack has not issued any official statement on whether she is still part of "Wentworth" season 5. Although many fans of the series went berserk when her character was "killed" in the finale of the previous season of the show, rumors about Bea Smith being alive have become louder the past few weeks.
Although Cormack has never been spotted on the set of "Wentworth" season 5, rumors claiming that her character is alive are becoming more persistent, and Cormack's silence on the allegations is interpreted by the fans as a confirmation. This is despite the fact that "Wentworth" showrunner Jo Porter has said that Bea Smith is, without question, dead already.
Fans opine that Porter only tricked the viewers with her statement as, after all, it won't be sensible for her to say pointblank that the character is still alive. If she did, she would have spoiled the upcoming season 5 of "Wentworth."
Earlier, it was reported that Cormack would, indeed, go back to "Wentworth" season 5. However, her character would only be featured in flashbacks as she is already dead. Nonetheless, there were also rumors claiming that Bea Smith did not really die after she was stabbed multiple times by Joan "The Freak" Ferguson (Pamela Rabe); instead, she is just in the hospital and is in a comatose.
Is Cormack really returning to "Wentworth?" Is Bea Smith still alive? Has the "Wentworth" showrunner made a white lie about Bea Smith's death?
