'Watch Dogs: Bad Blood' DLC: Single-player expansion announced; release date Sept. 23 w/ Season Pass
Ubisoft introduces the newest downloadable content for the mega hit series 'Watch Dogs' – the Bad Blood DLC.
"He's rough, he's tough... and he's a whole lot of crazy. The bearded badass hacker T-Bone makes his triumphant return, this time taking center stage in a new piece of Watch Dogs downloadable content titled Bad Blood," according to Gary Steinman, Sr. Communications Manager at Ubisoft.
The Bad Blood DLC will be available on Sept. 23 for Season Pass holders and Sept. 30 for all other players.
The one-minute action-packed trailer features T-Bone and his remote-controlled mini-car Eugene.
The developers has also foreseen the question of why focus on T-Bone's character instead of Clara or Jordi.
"We had to look at what each character would bring to the DLC that might make them different from Aiden Pearce without reducing our ability to fully interact with the world," says Scriptwriter Ethan Petty.
He added, "He's got one last Blume break-in to plant a false trail for the ctOS, before he heads in the opposite direction and retires to a life of open water and endless mojitos."
The Bad Blood DLC owners can play T-Bone, Aiden Pearce's trusted friend and is on the run from Blume.
The new single player DLC contains 10 new missions, new online coop mode, new locations and new weapons.
At the moment, Watch Dogs still holds the record of the most successful video game launch in 2014, with 4 million copies sold during its first week of release.
Ubisoft has also confirmed that it has sold more than 8 million copies during it first quarter earnings conference.
While the gaming realm has seen quite a number of lucrative releases this year, nothing comes close to Watch Dogs.
If there is one title that could give Ubisoft's number one franchise this year, gaming pundits think that Destiny is the strongest contender.
There are also reports saying that Watch Dogs is already on its way to Nintendo Wii U.
The studio has not confirmed anything yet.
