Villanova Wildcats vs Oklahoma Sooners live stream, preview: How to watch March Madness 2016 Final Four online
The Villanova Wildcats and the Oklahoma Sooners meet at the NRG Stadium in Houston Texas to determine who will make it to the last dance of the NCAA championship game.
The winner will be one step closer to the finals where that team will face the winner of the other pairing, which consists of the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Syracuse Orange, following that bill.
The Wildcats are slight favorites over the Sooners, though their matchup last December was practically the same. Despite holding a five-point spread, the Wildcats fell to the Sooners, 78-55.
But a lot has changed since then, with Villanova considered as one of the best teams for the season. That is despite losses to Seton Hall which led many to overlook the Wildcats. As before, the wards of head coach Jay Wright will try to rely on their defense and unpredictable offense against the Sooners.
The Sooners have, however, risen magnificently through March Madness. They took down Texas A&M and then Oregon in dominating fashion. At the front of head coach Lon Kruger's charges is Buddy Hield who has been shining for the Sooners.
Against the Wildcats, the story could be different with Hield likely to be the focus of the defense. But should they succeed, there are other players that can step up for the Sooners.
That list includes the likes of Jordan Woodard, Isaiah Cousins, Khadeem Lattin and Ryan Spangler who have proven their value to the team.
It should be noted as well that Hield did produce the last time around but not in the way he is carving out right now. He only had 18 points back in December 7 with other players chipping in their share.
Will lighting strike twice for the Sooners or will the Wildcats get payback?
The Villanova Wildcats and the Oklahoma Sooners slug it out for the first finals seat at the NRG Stadium in Houston Texas starting at 6:09 ET. The game can be watched via live stream here.
