The Sims 4 release date: Late release helps create best Sims game yet – EA Games

Trailers of Sims 4 have been trickling out lately, giving the gaming public a glimpse of the upcoming installment in the widely popular video game series, though currently there is not much to look into.

The Sims 4 is the much anticipated game that simulates life. Game publisher EA Games and developer Maxis promise a game with improved emotions and intelligence, guaranteeing chain reactions to every action.

Sims 4 will let gamers play like they never have before. The game will let the players experience fresh creative tools to build distinct homes and sculpt Sims. They have to learn to control their mind, heart and body of their Sims to bring their stories to life via an emotion-filled gameplay.

In May 2013, it was announced that Sims 4 will be released for Mac and PC in early 2014, but the schedule was pushed back to late this year as Maxis targets an "autumn" release for the next version of its famous life simulation game.

VP Executive Producer, Rachel Franklin, said the delay of the Sims 4 release helps fuel the process of the game's development, so it becomes the best and most ambitious game their studio has ever developed.

As of today, there is no information with regard to the game's Xbox One and PS4 edition .

The Sims 4 will come with the following features:

Creative tools – creating a Sim will be more intuitive, powerful and fun as the game allows sculpting Sims with both freedom and precision. Room-based Build Mode also enables dream home construction.

Emotions – Sims will express and feel emotions at the same time. It will experience various emotional states influenced through other actions, Sims, events, clothing and memories. Emotions are essential to create rich stories.

Intelligence - to enable Sims to act and move naturally when expressing emotions, multitasking and walking. Gamers can choose their Sims' personalities, aspirations and explore lifelong goals via Sim's skills, thoughts, memories and careers.

Neighborhoods – choose from varied and brilliant lots for Sims to live, as the Sim's home is brought to life with clear visuals.

New Sims - to create more relatable Sims.

Rewards – get new outfits, traits and objects by completing events.

Share – share your Sims creations with community and friends.

EA Games has confirmed that The Sims 4 will be part of the upcoming E3 2014 later this month.
