'The Mentalist' Season 7 spoilers, premiere: Episode 1-3 titles unveiled, Simon Baker to direct?
There is still no exact date regarding the premiere of the final 'The Mentalist' Season 7, though reports are suggesting that a January 2015 release date is in the works.
One of the show's mainstays, Tim Kang, who plays fan favorite, Kimball Cho, wrote a couple of Twitter posts signaling his excitement for the upcoming season.
"Trust me. This last season will be awesome. @RockmondDunbar, @JpAdler, and @josloren rock! Fantastic actors!!" Kang writes on his Twitter account.
Kang followed up the post by stating his character's positive disposition, suggesting a possible love interest.
"'Cho' might even smile every once in a while this season. HA!" Kang writes.
Simon Baker, who plays the lead character Patrick Jane, spoke to Hollywood Reporter and revealed that the show will indeed explore a romantic story line between Jane and Lisbon.
"The transition to the FBI has been able to give us room structurally in the story to explore the potential for a relationship between Jane and Lisbon. The threat of Lisbon parting in a way has been able to give it its due and be able to play it out properly, as opposed to just a sprinkle here and there," Baker revealed to Hollywood Reporter.
It has also been reported that Baker might direct episodes in the upcoming last season.
The titles of the first three episodes of The Mentalist Season 7 have already been revealed: Episode 1 is 'Nothing But Blue Skies,' Episode 2: 'The Greybar Hotel' and Episode 3: 'Orange Blossom Ice Cream.'
