Now that Disney Pixar has moved the showing date of "The Incredibles 2" a year earlier, those who have long awaited for the arrival of the overdue sequel can't contain their excitement. However, as the movie inches closer to its release, speculations on Jack-Jack Parr being the villain of the upcoming sequel are also becoming louder and louder with each passing day.

"The Incredibles 2" was originally slated for a June 2019 showing. However, it was announced recently that the sequel would be swapping its showing date with another Disney/Pixar animated sequel, "Toy Story 4," as "The Incredibles 2" production outpaced that of "Toy Story 4." Hence, instead of 2019, fans can now look forward to the return of the Parr family in June 2018.

While it's true that the movie is not scheduled to arrive in a year's time, there are already various rumors as to what its plot may be about. However, there is no denying that one of the most persistent rumors is that Jack-Jack Parr, who was still a baby in the first "The Incredibles" movie shown in 2004, will be the villain in the upcoming sequel. After all, toward the end of the movie, it was revealed that Jack-Jack was the most powerful among the Parr family of superheroes.

E! News opines that there is a possibility for the rumors to be more than just a rumor. After all, no less than "The Incredibles 2" writer/director, Brad Bird, has declared that the upcoming sequel will be unlike other superhero movies as it will zero in on relationships among its characters. Hence, it is likely for the film to feature a now-teenage Jack-Jack as the movie's big bad.

However, apart from Jack-Jack, there are also rumors claiming that the upcoming sequel may feature the second Parr child, Dash, as its big bad. Nonetheless, whether it's Jack-Jack or Dash who will be the big bad, it seems that the movie's next villain will come from the row of the Parr family.
