'The Flash' season 1 episode 13 spoilers: Fusion of Ronnie and Dr. Martin into 'The Nuclear Man', actor Grant Gustin teases about a big twist

CW's "The Flash" has certainly kept audiences captivated with an interesting storyline with a new romance on the horizon for the superhero. Episode 12 showed the audience that a particle accelerator explosion led to the fusion of Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) leading to The Nuclear Man. The two are essentially one person. Episode 13 will see Flash (Grant Gustin) and his team deal with this startling discovery.

Caitlin's (Danielle Panabaker) fiancé is deemed dangerous when Barry aka Flash discover that he has attacked an esteemed physicist, according to Hollywood Hills. Now that he is deemed dangerous, the S.T.A.R. labs team will do everything they can to find him. Eventually, the team realizes that the best way to find the dangerous meta-human is to find Dr. Martin Stein who was working on a project named "F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M".

Additionally, once they do find The Nuclear Man, the team finds it difficult to discern whose personality they are speaking to. While all this is going on, Flash also needs to juggle his new and blooming romance with Linda Park which is definitely going to be a challenge for the lightning fast superhero. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse Martin) seeks the assistance of Cisco in order to reinvestigate the murder of Nora Allen, Barry's mother.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Grant Gustin confirms that Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) is Reverse Flash and that the clue lies in the mid-season premiere which saw Wells staring at Reverse Flash's yellow suit. In the interview Gustin teases fans that "There's a big twist that even surprised me. I've seen all the predictions online. No one has predicted the big twist that's coming at the end of this season."

What can be the big surprise? Can the doctor and Ronnie be separated as The Nuclear Man? Will Flash be able to handle his new romance? Find out on "The Nuclear Man" episode airing on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
