Liz's baby plans might have to be put on hold as Tom hovers between life and death. But does Red have anything to do with Gina's double cross of Tom?

In the previous episode of "The Blacklist" season 3, Liz (Megan Boone), Red (James Spader) and the task force hunt down the elusive "Lady Ambrosia." While Liz might have wanted to save the children from Lady Ambrosia, Red's motive was more self-serving as he received a file on Katerina Rostova from the parents of one of the kidnapped children. But while this was going down, Tom (Ryan Eggold) was gunned down by several men after he was set-up by his ex-girlfriend Gina (Margarita Levieva).

Luckily for fans of "The Blacklist," Tom is a survivor. But how long he will remain that way remains to be seen.

A synopsis for episode 15, "Drexel," teases that Liz's ex-husband is in a life-threatening situation. However, Red has another case for Liz and the task force after the founder of an internet start-up is murdered. Now the team has to work with Red in tracking down this killer using an equally dangerous underground news source.

Fans hoping to garner more information about this blacklister would have to wait as the trailer for the upcoming episode focused more on Tom's situation. The trailer begins with Tom being wheeled into the hospital and the doctor working on him announcing that "his pulse is dropping." Liz is then shown meeting Red and asks him if he hurt Tom. Red has always been antagonistic towards Tom and his opinion is in full display as he tells the ex-FBI agent that Tom is reckless and is not worthy to be her husband and to raise the baby. Liz looks hurt and is teary-eyed as she pulls away from her mentor. The clip ends with Liz in the hospital with Tom, asking if he's ok.

The trailer hints that how Tom ended up in the hospital will be a game changer. It most likely will be a turning point in the series and can play out several different ways. It's entirely possible that Red did have something to do with Gina betraying Tom. Liz might also not take too kindly with Tom's decision to work with Gina again. Or this incident will finally hammer in the hard truth that the life she currently leads is too dangerous for a child.

Episode 15 of "The Blacklist" season 3 will be aired on Feb. 18.
