Showtime's "The Affair" just recently aired the tenth of its twelve episode sophomore run and it seems like viewers and critics alike are warming up to the controversial show. At present, the series holds an average of almost 800,000 viewers per episode as opposed to the 710,000 individual audiences tuning in on the pilot season. Even critics like The Huffington Post's Jackie Pilossoph has since warmed up to "The Affair" and in a recent article, she praised the show for being very realistic at least in the area of Divorce.

"I feel entirely different about season two. I seriously cannot get enough of the show! I LOVE it. Whereas last season was all about cheating and sex and seemed sleazy and cheesy, The Affair might as well be called The Divorce now," read a quip from Pilossoph's report.

Elsewhere, Julia Goldani Telles, the actress who plays Whitney Soloway, has also since discussed her involvement on the show. In a recent interview with the New York Post, the 20 year old actress revealed how different she is than her character at least when it comes to how she interacts with her parents.

"Can you imagine? My parents would never let me. People get confused between me and the character. Somebody yelled at me on the street the other day. It was very interesting and a little annoying," said Telles.

Sarah Treem, in the same sit down, also explained how initially the team behind "The Affair" were unsure about how pivotal Whitney's role would be on season two. According to Treem, the production only decided to create a heftier story for the character when they saw the stunning performance of Telles.

"She was so damn good in the pilot it was obvious she could handle a lot. Certain actors just command the camera," exclaimed Treem.

The 11th episode of "The Affair" is scheduled to air on Dec. 13 on Showtime.
