The second half of "Teen Wolf" season five will commence in a few weeks and it seems that big changes are coming to the show as new creatures are reportedly set to be introduced. However, a cast member might be bidding adieu to the show.

With most of the show's stars out of teens and working on other projects, it's been said that season five might be the last season for "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien. The 24-year-old actor, who plays Stiles Stilinski, recently talked to "Buzzfeed" about his experience in the show and the friendship he has developed with the cast. O'Brien admitted to the show meaning so much to him and how much he'll miss it when the time comes for him to leave.

"Forever and ever this will be my first role, and that's so special," O'Brien said. "As long as the stories are still being told, I will have a hand in telling them."

Fans shouldn't worry yet though as O'Brien is still a big part of the hugely popular series. As a matter of fact, Lydia and Stiles shippers will reportedly find the latter half of the season much to their liking as the two will officially become a couple.

This long-awaited development was teased by "Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davis during New York Comic-Con. According to the "Hollywood Life" site, Davis said that Lydia's rescue from Eichen House will all be down to Stiles. This revelation has started fans wondering if this would be the push needed for the two to move beyond friendship. There has always been chemistry between the two characters and they even kissed in season three.

Aside from the "Stydia" development, the second half of "Teen Wolf" season five will allegedly introduce the Skinwalkers. Native American myths describe them as shape shifters that can transform into animals. And in a bid to ensure that these legendary creatures are portrayed accurately, the show has hired a Navajo consultant to work with them. Tonantzin Carmelo, an actress who's half Native-American is also onboard as one of the Skinwalkers.

"Teen Wolf" season 5B is slated to return to the small screen on January 5, 2016.
