MTV's "Teen Wolf" is a show that many fans adore — not only because of its story, but also because of its characters, played convincingly by capable actors. Unfortunately, one of its leads, Dylan O'Brien, got into a terrible accident earlier this year while shooting "Maze Runner: The Death Cure." Rumors are now abound that O'Brien's character, Stiles Stilinski, might be replaced — or worse, he might get killed off.

Entertainment Weekly reported that O'Brien's accident resulted in the third "Maze Runner" film's delay. With that, it is highly likely that the series' release might also be pushed back. However, nothing so far has been confirmed by MTV regarding changes in "Teen Wolf's" schedule.

Speculations are rife that O'Brien's character may get the ax due to his real-life injury. But the move will certainly cause uproar among fans.

Lately, though, there have been reports claiming that the famous actor might be replaced with an equally famous face: Harry Styles. The One Direction member has been involved in a number of acting rumors, and this is the latest one to hit the Internet. There is no doubt that Styles' inclusion in the series will receive mixed reactions, with some opposing the decision while others supporting it.

However, since this not been confirmed by MTV or Styles himself, fans should take the news with a grain of salt.

Previous rumors have also indicated that the series' star, Tyler Posey, who plays Scott McCall, might be leaving the show. Thankfully, Posey addressed the issue and maintained that his involvement in "Teen Wolf" will continue.

"I'm putting an end to that rumor right now! As long as there is a 'teen wolf' I'll be on it," Posey tweeted.

Meanwhile, fans can expect the new season of "Teen Wolf" to be quite different from previous ones. In addition, season 6's central theme will be friendship, specifically the one between Stiles and Scott.
