'Supergirl' season 2 premiere spoilers: Kara's old enemies will return
Kara (Melissa Benoist) will deal with the return of her old enemies in the upcoming season of "Supergirl," set to return this fall in its new home, the CW.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort), whom Supergirl defeated during the season 1 finale, are still alive. Kara had a tough time fighting her uncle, who was convinced she should be blamed for Astra's (Laura Benanti) death. In the end, she managed to take him down with her heat vision. As for Indigo, the showrunner said that the villain would probably return, as her powers make her almost impossible to kill.
"If you're a fan of the comic books, you know that Kara's heat vision took away Non's — lobotomized Non. How and when we see him again, he'll probably be very different. I think Indigo is probably the hardest person in the world to kill given that she's a living computer, so I wouldn't be surprised if she pops up again," Kreisberg shared in the Entertainment Weekly interview.
Meanwhile, fans are excited to learn more about the upcoming crossover among the four superhero shows in the CW. It was previously revealed that the network bosses are planning to air the episodes in December. The crossover of "Supergirl," "Arrow," "The Flash," and "Legends of Tomorrow" will reportedly be the biggest event this year for the CW. Previously, Kara met Barry (Grant Gustin) in her world when he got stuck travelling between alternate universes. Fans have been mostly positive with their reviews, especially with the contest scene where Supergirl and The Flash tested who was faster between them.
According to spoilers, the crossover will be possible due to the Waverider, the time-travelling ship and base of "Legends of Tomorrow's" main protagonist, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill). Benoist, however, shared with E! Online that she has no idea how the crossover works. She said she was still wondering how Grant [Gustin] did it in his own show.
