There might be more to Onion than meets the eye, and fans might finally learn what it is in "Onion's Gang."

"Steven Universe" fans were a little disappointed when the last episode felt more like a filler than a proper story. Previous reports pegged that episode 6 would be "Gem Harvest," episode 7 is "Tiger Philanthropist," while episode 8 is titled "Last One Out of Beach City." While no synopses about the episodes have been released, "Gem Harvest" is rumored to be about Pearl's backstory, while the other two episodes will reportedly focus on love and issues like self-love and individuality.

But a little bit of reshuffling happened instead and viewers saw Pearl, Steven, and Amethyst going to a rock show in "Last One Out of Beach City." A Bit Bag report pointed out that Cartoon Network has so far not given any explanation with regard to the reshuffling.

As for the next "Steven Universe" episode, fans can expect to see more of Onion. Episode 7, titled "Onion Gang," will apparently have Steven finding out about Onion's secret friends.

Steven and the viewers will undoubtedly be surprised to discover that Onion has other friends. After all, he has always been quiet to a fault, seemingly comfortable talking only to his parents. However, it's pretty obvious that the little guy has special feelings for Steven, something that the half-Gem has picked up on and seems uncomfortable with.

Theories abound that Onion's secret friends might be mutant gems that he has been hiding in his basement. Some have even posited that Sour Cream's half-brother might even be the leader of some sort of Gem gang and that these are the same monsters that menaced people in season 2's "Nightmare Hospital" episode.

Episode 7 of "Steven Universe" season 4 is expected to be aired on Cartoon Network on Sept. 15.
