"Star Wars," arguably one of the most iconic franchises of all time, has got fans buzzing as rumors about the plot of the upcoming "Episode 8" have started circulating online.

It can be recalled that Finn, played by John Boyega, was not in the best shape when the previous film, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," ended. He was attacked by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) with a lightsaber and suffered deep injuries from that. However, in a report from Making Star Wars, it has been revealed that Finn will almost be fully recovered when "Star Wars: Episode 8" rolls around.

According to the site, Finn will have been assisted by medical staff of the Resistance and placed in a "bacta suit." This bubble suit will help repair the injuries that he sustained. Moreover, the site elaborates that the upcoming film will feature a sequence where Finn will be taken out from the suit, fully recovered. He will then be tasked to go on a journey that will prove to be a huge leap for him within the Resistance.

Apart from Finn's recovery, there have also been news spreading that Han Solo (Harrison Ford) may not be dead after all. Finn wasn't the only one Kylo Ren did some damage to. Fans all over the world screamed in a mixture of anger and pain when Kylo Ren, Han's own son, stabbed him straight through with his red lightsaber. Han then apparently fell to his death.

However, according to reports, there has been widespread speculation that Han may have only faked his death. This is because fans believe that Kylo Ren is actually a good guy and is only playing the baddie in an effort to gain the First Order's trust. Thus, he needed to seemingly kill his own father to prove that he is on their side. Han may have been a part of the whole charade, too.

On the other hand, there has also been talk of Kylo Ren not actually being Han and Leia's (Carrie Fisher) son. Since these have not been confirmed, though, fans should take this news with a grain of salt for now.

"Star Wars: Episode 8" will premiere in theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
