Even if the TLC reality show "Sister Wives" is still in a hiatus after its season 7, it continues to generate buzz among its share of viewers. The latest in the rumor mill is that the show may not be getting a season 8 after all — thanks to the alleged plan of Kody Brown to get two more wives in addition to his already four wives.

It can be recalled that it was previously reported that Brown is targeting to marry two new younger women, according to a family insider. Rumor has it that the alleged plan of Cody did not sit well with TLC, hence, the decision of the network to cancel the reality show, which follows the lives of a polygamist family.

However, recent reports claim that there is a high possibility "Sister Wives" season 8 to push through despite Brown's faltering health and whether his plan to marry two more women will happen or not.

In the event that the reality series will, indeed, return for another season run, only then can it be confirmed whether Brown will really marry Mindy Jessop, the step-niece of his legal wife Robyn, and Amanda, who is a family friend.

To the uninitiated, "Sister Wives" features Brown and all his four wives, Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn. Among the four, Robyn is the current legal wife of Brown as his previous marriages with the first three have already been legally dissolved. What makes the show interesting is the odd setup wherein all the four wives live with Brown altogether along with their respective children with Brown, which totals to 18.

Unlike what most people would expect, all the four wives co-exist under the same roof without any catfight, and, in fact, consider one another as sisters, hence, the moniker "Sister Wives."

At this point in time, TLC has not issued a statement on the renewal of "Sister Wives" for its season 8, hence, there is no news when the reality series will return to the small screen to offer its brand of entertainment.

Will Brown get himself two more wives? Will the show really return for another season?

"Sister Wives" fans can only wait and see.
