Lip (Jeremy Allen White) is determined to remain "sober" after completing his rehab in the upcoming season of "Shameless."

Showtime has officially released the synopsis for the premiere episode and it looks like the Gallagher kid is on his way to having a "better" life. Lip has finished with his rehab and is back with the family. Fiona (Emmy Rossum) wants him and the others to straighten up their lives and act like mature individuals for a change. Hopelessly alcoholic, Lip will try to stay sober to keep his promise to his sister, but will he be able to renounce the call of the booze?

In the promo, Lip is shown back at the bar. He makes it clear to everyone that he is a changed man, since he does not drink alcohol on an empty stomach now. However, it looks like he is readying for another round of heavy drinking again. Will Fiona kick him out of the house once she learns of his binge drinking?

Meanwhile, Debbie (Emma Kenney) is a mess. After hearing that she needs to pay three hundred plus dollars to cover the bills for her stay in the house, she is at a loss on how to get the cash and feed baby Franny at the same time. In the teaser, she will resort to an unconventional way of getting what she wants – stealing.

Meanwhile, Frank (William H. Macy) is back after a month at the hospital. He was in a coma after getting thrown off a bridge while he was drunk after Fiona's wedding got canceled. He will finally learn that it was his children who did it and cannot wait to show them he does not need them. Frank is revealed to be shopping for a new family at a homeless center. Will this new family be any better than the original?

"Shameless" season 7 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
