The Red Devil Killer has finally been unmasked during the two-hour season finale of "Scream Queens." But with the killer getting away and the fun and mayhem that the first season offered, fans are wondering if season two is in the cards. While there's no official news about a renewal, "Scream Queens" star Lea Michele is confident it will happen. As a matter of fact, she's so confident that she has some ideas with regards to the next season.

It came as a surprise that the murderer behind the mask and red latex cape was none other than Kappa Kappa Tau's Hester, who also goes by the monikers Neck Brace and Chanel No. 6. And apparently, viewers weren't the only ones surprised as Michele, who plays the nerdy, neck braced Hester, also didn't see that particular twist coming.

The "Glee" alum admitted to "TV Line" that she was certain the "Scream Queens'" creators would at least give her a clue earlier as to who the killer was, given that she worked with them before. She added that she only found out that she was the killer when she got the final script. As to her feelings about that shocker, she said she "was really excited and, more so, happy to know that she got away with it."

Of course, just because she literally got away with murder this time around doesn't mean it will remain that way forever. Michele says that she thinks her actions will come back to haunt her if "Scream Queens" is renewed. The show has been doing well in the ratings, but no one knows if the campy series will return for a season two as Fox is still tight-lipped on the issue.

However, if "Scream Queens" does return, Michele and Murphy have already had a conversation as to what Hester's role would be. In an "ET Online" interview, Michelle revealed that the showrunner had mentioned that there would be another round of killings and a new killer on campus, and it won't be Hester this time. She might even be one of the victims this time around.
