In less than two months, CBS' action drama "Scorpion" returns for a third season. Before it hits the small screens, executive producer Nick Wootton promised fans that the upcoming installment will be better.

In an interview with TV Over Mind at the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Wootton revealed that the upcoming season 3 is going to offer more action and will be filled with more emotions and revelations. One of the bombshells include Happy (Jadyn Wong) revealing that she is married, which shocked the entire team.

He explained, "We have sufficiently kicked up so much dust just with that one admission at the end of last season from Happy, we have a long way to clean this up...it reverberates out so significantly with the other characters. When we pick up with Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas), he's even deeper into that bottle of tequila he was drinking."

The first part of Happy's revelation was her marriage, the second part of the revelation will be unveiled in season 3 and it has something to do with the person that Happy is married to. Happy, who has created a strong connection with Toby, will be conflicted.

The EP also teased that the main highlight of season 3 is Walter's (Elyes Gabel) efforts to be more emotionally mature. The upcoming season will also tackle on Cabe's (Robert Patrick) new love interest and Ralph's (Riley Smith) selfless act of translating a boy with autism who gets lost in the city.

Wootton assured fans that season 3 is more relatable since it shows more on the personal lives of the characters rather than their jobs.

However, most fans are looking forward to Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Paige's (Katharine McPhee) brewing romance. According to reports, the on-screen romance of Walter and Paige may be affected with the off-screen romance of the actors that play the characters. Real-life couple McPhee and Gabel have reportedly broken up.

"Scorpion" season 3 premieres with a 2-hour special episode on Oct. 3, Monday, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
