'Pokémon Sun' and 'Moon' games to launch new online training features; new Pokémon characters to be introduced
The highly anticipated role-playing video games in the Pokémon series have just gotten more interesting. Brought by video game developer Game Freak, "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" are set to introduce new online features that will also be coupled with a mode that will enable trainers to power up their strongest Pokémon in a continuous fashion. And if that is not enough, adorable and seemingly mischievous characters are also set to be added in the mix.
The new Friendly Competitions will be included in the game through an update in its Global Link system in which the Pokémon online trainers are converging. The new feature will allow users to launch their own matches alongside their predetermined rules which would consequently bring upon challenges by their online rivals and competitors around.
Moreover, the players will have the capacity to limit the entry conditions, encapsulating only those people whom they know. Meanwhile, players can opt to share and scan QR codes in terms of live competitions.
The most exciting among the purported added features is the Hyper Training. The capability will give the trainers the chance to power up their level 100 stats. The feature will ultimately transform their Pokémon into even stronger characters through an in-game character named Mr. Hyper. The said feature might be upon the players after the role-playing video games get launched.
The imminent release will be boosted, wondrously so, by the new, weirdly adorable and mischievous Pokémon. The bug, water-type Pokémon Wimpod has the new Ability Wimp Out which will cause other Pokémon to run away. The grass-type, Fruit Pokémon Bounsweet will have a calming aroma.
More on the new characters, Pokémon Comfy will be a flower-toting, caring character. Ground type Mudsdale will be armed with an incredible power and stamina. Pun-filled Bewear will give one bear-crushing hugs, literally. Lastly, the melancholic Mimikyu will pile on its prowess in disguise.
"Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" will debut in the gaming world for Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18.
