"Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" have just been released for the North American region and some fans are already going crazy over it. With the games' launch, it seems that a theory about a certain Pokémon may actually be true in the latest installments.

Based on a report from iDigitalTimes, there have been theories before that Cosmog will play a key role in "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon." The creature is also said to evolve into one of the legendary Pokémon of the two versions, Solgaleo or Lunala. At first sight, it seems unlikely that Cosmog will actually evolve to those two creatures since they do not share similarities in terms of appearance.

However, the list of Pokémon in Serebii has been updated recently and it shows that Cosmog will evolve into Cosmoem. Then depending on what version the player has, Cosmoem will evolve into Lunala when it is in the Altar of the Moone, or it will evolve into Solgaleo if it is brought to the Altar of the Sunne. This is actually the first time in the series where a legendary Pokémon actually has a pre-evolution.

It has also been reported by GameSpot recently that "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" is anticipated to have a high amount of sales. Moreover, Nintendo has already shipped over 10 million copies to retailers in preparation for its release. The latest installments might even break a new record by being the best-selling Nintendo 3DS title. As of now, the label is being held by "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" since it was able to sell more than 15.64 million copies combined.

In other related news, an English trailer has been revealed recently for the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" animated series. The clip showed Ash and Pikachu going to school for the first time and they also encountered a new kind of Pokémon known as Tapu Koko.

"Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" have already been released for the North America region while it will arrive in Europe on Nov. 23.
