The Pokémon Company is on a roll. Apart from releasing the highly popular mobile game "Pokémon GO" and being behind the upcoming "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," the entertainment giant is gearing up to release the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" anime series, which will air in November.
A recently released trailer for the upcoming anime series sees Ash heading to the Alola region to study. The clip is short, lasting only 28 seconds, but it nevertheless manages to stir up the excitement in all fans.
It has been noted that Ash looks a tad different in this new anime from when he was first introduced. But he's not the only one sporting a new look. The animation style in general has changed. And while there are certainly fans out there who do not approve of the shift in style, there are also those who welcome it.
For those who are unaware, the Alola region is also featured in the upcoming "Pokémon Sun and Moon." In fact, it is the main setting of the game. In the anime, Ash will travel to the Alola region to finish his studies. And as usual, he will also cross paths with a lot of different Pokémon, both old and new. Fans are excited to see what kind of new Pokémon will be introduced, but they are also looking forward to the Alolan versions of Pokémon that are already available.
Apart from that, the series is also expected to feature the Z-Moves, a new technique that Pokémon can upgrade to. This type of skill will also be seen in the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" game.
As previously reported, the game will introduce new characters, both good and bad. It is also set to feature Alolan versions of Pokémon. The Alolan counterpart of Raticate has already been unveiled in the game's trailer. "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" are reportedly set 12 hours apart, hence, their respective names.
