'Pokémon GO' cheats, tricks and hacks: How to catch rare, legendary Pokémon

The mobile game that's sweeping the nation has also got some players wondering how to catch rare, legendary Pokémon. Look no further. Here are some tips and tricks on how to become a rare Pokémon catcher.
The first thing to consider is the PokeVision, which is a map of sorts that shows players what Pokémon are around a particular area. All the player has to do is type in the address and the PokeVision will do the rest. It will show the map of the address, as well as all the nearby Pokémon around it.
This particular feature is not only helpful in finding rare Pokémon, but it also allows players to manage their time. Each Pokémon has a timer located below them. This timer shows the amount of time left before that particular creature disappears, which means it basically gives players that much time to catch it. It's an expiration of sorts.
However, it should be noted that the PokeVision is not entirely accurate. When tested, Business Insider pointed out that the Pokémon that was supposedly near the area wasn't there at all.
Another useful tip is to download "Ingress," a separate game also made by Niantic Labs. Although it's a completely different game from "Pokémon GO," it has been pointed out by Nick Johnson, the first person to catch all Pokémon found in the United States, that a lot of data from "Ingress" makes it to "Pokémon GO."
"Ingress," much like "Pokémon GO," is an augmented reality game wherein players search for exotic matter on a map. Johnson discovered that areas with a lot of exotic matter usually also have a lot of Pokémon. Like PokeVision, though, the tactic is not fool-proof.
Of course, there are also those who question the existence of legendary Pokémon in the game like Mewtwo. According to Tech Insider, there may be no way of catching these rare creatures, but the opportunity may arise "eventually." It's possible that Niantic has not yet included the legendary ones in the game in order to make room for bigger updates and reveals. Regardless, there are still many fans out there who believe that a Mewtwo may be found in the wild.
