'Pokemon Go' Legendary Pokemon news: Mew, Mewtwo, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, and Ditto hardest to find
More and more players are into the "Pokemon Go" craze and the rare and prized Legendary Pokemons have not been found yet. Speculations on who the characters could be are making the rounds.
The newest mobile game from "Pokemon" is taking the world by storm as more and more Android and iOS phone owners are hooked. Like many of its kind, "Pokemon Go's" goal is to catch as many pokemons and complete the Pokedex. Legendary Pokemons are added in the game, and while these are rare, the quest to be the first to find one has also become each player's goal.
Some players have come together on Reddit to contribute to the chart that tracks Pokemons found. The chart shows that Mew, Mewtwo, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, and Ditto seem to be the hardest to find.
Among the characters mentioned, only Ditto is not considered a Legendary character but is considered very powerful nonetheless.
Forbes gives an analysis on why these characters have not been spotted yet. One reason could be the level since the game has just been released. Maybe the Legendary characters will only be available when a certain level is reached.
"Pokemon Go" has a introduced a team playing feature and the teams divided into three could be a hint to the appearance of the creatures. The publication points out that the Articuno serves as mascot for Mystic, Moltres serves as mascot for Valor, and Zapdos serves as mascot for Instinct. The surprise could be hidden when teams get stronger.
Another location could be the Gyms, but certain qualifications have to be met such as winning points, combined characters, or Gym level.
"Pokemon Go" makes use of real-life locations as altered reality setting. While going through one's daily activities, the phone with the downloaded app would alert the player if a Pokemon is nearby.
