With August already looming just beyond the horizon, more than a few PlayStation Plus owners are already thinking about what free games they may be getting next month.

This month's list, as seen on the PlayStation Blog, gave Plus subscribers yet another high profile triple-A title they could sink their teeth into in the form of "Saints Row: Gat out of Hell," and that came on the heels of "NBA 2K16" being made available back in June.

PlayStation Plus subscribers probably want the trend of triple-A titles being given away for free to continue and are hoping that August will again deliver.

Some PlayStation Plus subscribers even have their own ideas regarding which games should be made available for free next month.

For instance, some fans have suggested that "The Evil Within" should be offered next month. The survival horror title has gotten its fair share of positive reviews, so it's no surprise that gamers who have thus far missed out on it may want to receive it as a free title courtesy of the PlayStation Plus program.

Other fans are hoping that a different survival horror title will be made available, specifically one from the long-running "Resident Evil" franchise.

With "Madden NFL 17" already set to come out next month, some fans are also hoping that they may get something related to the franchise. Some fans are even expecting to get last year's installment of the franchise.

Along with the triple-A titles, PlayStation Plus lineups also typically include some indie games, so subscribers can look forward to uncovering a potential gem once next month's collection of titles has been officially announced.

Unfortunately, players will have to wait just a bit longer before they know the official lineup of free games for August, as Sony typically makes that announcement near the end of the month.
