They're coming back, pitches!

Following the success of the two installments of the musical comedy franchise "Pitch Perfect," a sequel is on its way to the big screen by 2017. And rumors that the production has already begun sparked when Latina actress Chrissie Fit posted on her Twitter about a reunion with Brittany Snow, who played the role of Chloe and who confirmed to be reprising her role for "Pitch Perfect 3."

According to reports, two of the most loved characters, Beca (Anna Kendrick) and Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) of the Barden Bellas, will be facing their post-graduation life. And avid fans have been excited about the possibility of a wedding between Fat Amy and Bumper (Adam DeVine).

Adam Devine had revealed in an interview during the People's Choice Awards that he has been officially asked to return for "Pitch Perfect 3."

Another actress who will be coming back to reprise her role is Hailee Steinfeld who played Emily. "I can't wait! It's all happening," she told E! Online during the special screening of her new indie drama "Ten Thousand Saints."

Elizabeth Banks will be back as well to star and direct the upcoming movie. In an interview with Collider in May last year, she said that if fans embrace the idea of having a third movie for the franchise, they have to consider what sort of continuing journey they would want audience to see.

"I knew I wanted the riff-off to look pretty much exactly what the riff-off looks like in this movie... I don't know what the story of the third one is yet. So I can't say...but I'm excited to delve in and figure it out," she told the publication.

In other news, Skylar Astin, who played Jesse in the movie, had proposed to longtime girlfriend and co-star Anna Camp, who gave life to Aubrey's character. She said yes, and the two have yet to announce their wedding date.
